The Vice Roi des Mauberts is a massive hêtre / birch tree, over 200 years old - 43m tall with 308cm diameter trunk.

Until 1930 the Vice Roi des Mauberts was dominated by the nearby Roi des Mauberts, a gigantic pine tree. Another, the Reine des Mauberts was lost in 1899.
