La pierre branlant de Boscartus is a massive logan stone thought to weigh around 120 tonnes. This is one of the Rochers de Puychaud, situated in the Monts du Blond in the Haute Vienne, NW of Limoges in the Limousin region of SW France.

The farmer on whose land the stone is situated kindly provides a supply of sturdy poles for visitors to use to rock the stone upon it's natural plinth!

The region is rich in megalithic sites: Nearby are the Pierre à Sacrifices, and the menhir and dolmen de Cieux as well as la Roche aux fées and the Pas de l'an.

The cube form of la pierre branlant de Boscartus is similar to that of the Roc Branlant a little further south.
